Dare To Do Something Different

The word says that "Blessed are the pure in heart for they shall see God"! We must seek Him in what is best for our bodies because everything we do affects our hearts (Matthew 5:8). All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any (1 Cor 6:12).

Some of us are determined that we are going to still eat what we want despite the grievance

that we are causing the Holy Spirit. Saying what will it hurt? Disobedience hurts!! God created man and he knows what we need, therefore he has the desired menu for your life. Its been a little over a month since our corporate fast. I know many of us could not wait to dive back into our old habits of eating. Just as it was said before, fasting is supposed to change us! God made the changes because he is faithful, but you have to grow in the area of discipline in order to maintain what he has delivered you from. Deliverance must be protected! You can lose it if we do not allow those empty spaces to be filled with what God requires. This requires your attention.

I surrendered my life to Christ in 2003, for real, before then I was taking him for granted, I ate myself into a hefty weight of 210 lbs with a size 18/20 waist .The first thing the lord spoke to me was I need you to go on a Fast! That was not a coincidence; that was God! For two weeks I was given the instructions to stop eating everything I loved to eat. On the last day of the fast, my clothes were too big for me and I was now a size 12!!!! Let me be clear I didn't ask God to help me lose weight, I asked the Lord to help me to develop a relationship

with him that was unbreakable. The Lord gave me that and the weight loss.

So, this is important to God. The Lord is not trying to take your appetite, he

just wants to modify it. Surrender it to Him!
